Matt Coyne, is the Managing Partner of Brandywine Mergers & Acquisitions, LLC and the Director of Operations. Matt co-founded this regional VR Mergers & Acquisitions office after years of senior level positions with Fortune 500 companies such as GE, Fisher Scientific, and Precision Castparts. Matt holds a degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Vermont. Matt's corporate experiences include Senior Financial Analyst (corporate acquisitions), VP of Finance, and General Manager of a precision-alloy casting facility in Leeds, England. Matt's unique experience is particularly well suited to helping manufacturing companies to enable a transition and create a sound and reasonable plan for value enhancement. Matt is a member of the Association of Corporate Growth. Matt also teaches multiple seminars including various CPE classes and a workshop for entrepreneurs at Wharton's Small Business Center.
Frank Michel, Partner and Director of Marketing and Research. Frank co-founded the office with Matt Coyne. Frank holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. Previously, Frank has owned and operated a value added reseller of human resources software servign mid-sized companies and government agencies. Prior to founding Brandywine he owned a Real Estate Development Firm. Frank is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, and the AM&AA. Frank currently conducts presentations for professional advisors who serve privately held companies.
Chad Byers, Senior Associate, joined the firm 5 years ago as an intern while completing his undergraduate degree. During that time Chad was a collegiate athlete and coach. Since that time Chad has completed dozens of transactions in many different industries. Chad is also a Co-Founder and the Chairman of the "Chester County Young Professionals", an under 40 organization dedicated to promoting the region's economic vitality through the attraction and retention of young professionals and business leaders.
James Coyne, Sr., Senior Associate. Jim has not only joined VR but is also joining his son's (Matt Coyne) firm. Jim joins the firm after 45 years as a financial advisor. Jim is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania-Wharton School and is also a retired Lt. Commander of the United States Navy. Jim's many years experience advising private business owners and their families in their financial affairs has proven an excellent background for servicing those same clients as they plan for and embark on their business exit plans.
Chris Martin, Associate, comes to VR/BMA after working as an intermediary for buyers and sellers of Pennsylvania Liquor Licenses. With a strong background in Psychology, Chris brings with him a firm understanding of the decision-making process and promotes the importance of communication in all things. As a member of several Young Professionals groups, Chris takes every opportunity to network and build rapport with other professionals in the industry.
Chad McGovern, Associate, joined the firm after finishing his undergraduate studies in 2007 with a degree in finance from the Pennsylvania State University. While there, Chad was an active member of the Penn State Investment Association, a student-managed investment fund, and has a strong background in financial trading software. Chad also comes to BMA with experience in Corporate Finance and Internal Audit after completing internships with the Vanguard Group.
Chris Vondran, is the office manager of VR/BMA. Chris' exceptional attention to detail and her day to day managerial and personnel skills has become a major key to the success of this firm.
Matt Sanger, Associate, joined the firm after completion of his undergraduate studies with a degree in Entrepreneurship at the Temple University Fox School of Business Management. During his college years Matt was involved with leading the Entrepreneurial Student Association and worked as a Realtor in Center City Philadelphia. Matt also spent time as an intern at Tempe University Small Business Development Center and is dedicated to the idea of life long learning.
